Saint-Gobain is a world leader in the design, production and distribution of construction materials.

We work closely with several major brands within the group, helping create ecommerce solutions, implementing major UX strategies and helping to connect nationwide branch networks to the online experience.

Jewson, one of the key brands within the group was struggling to engage its audience digitally. With an ecommerce presence that didn’t fully support its nationwide branch network, an established audience not digitally focused in their buying behaviour and an emerging younger persona not represented it was clear that the brand needed a UX review.

We defined the peronas, their behaviour and their journey across devices and platforms - in branch and online.

Nzime conducted workshops, interviewed builders and mapped out key journeys. We understood the complex relationships the audience had with physical branches - and what this meant for ecommerce.

We also looked at the marginal gains we could make through implementing established ecommerce theory.

The result was a conversion focused ecommerce site that reinforced both the brand and the branch experience - across all persona groups.
