Lizzie Armitstead, Andy Murray, Jessica Ennis-Hill, Adam Peaty, Anthony Joshua, Chris McGillan, all house hold names that rely on Wattbike to keep them top of their physical game. Ok, maybe not Chris McGillan as he is one of our team that got to know the ins and outs of Wattbike, but he did put himself through the paces ahead of forming a strategy to support Wattbike through their launch of a new product.

After several years of securing the top step in cycle based and non-cycle athletic training, Wattbike launched the 'Atom', an all new from the ground up smart training bike unlike anything else in the market. This time Wattbike wanted to rely on direct channel sales through their ecommerce store which because of this needed to convert as effectively as possible.

Nzime got to understand the audience, which didn't just included cyclists to truly get under the lycra of these hardcore athletes, and not so hardcore home users. Working alongside the Wattbike digital team we collaboratively supported with journey mapping, UX insights, wireframes and creative to help deliver what is a very successful direct channel commerce platform.

There's a story that we're not sure is true but it talks of a certain member of staff taking research a little too seriously and throwing up after a Wattbike session.

I worked with nzime on a digital project to improve and optimise the online customer experience across the e-commerce site and blog. Using brand insights and analytics to inform their thinking - they helped to design a solution that not only optimised Wattbike consumer journeys, but ultimately improved the site performance and overall brand experience. A fantastically collaborative team with a great balance of brand creative, UX and technical experience.
