Midweight Digital Designer

An exciting opportunity to play a key role in our creative team - contributing to projects from discovery and research through to finished digital design. You’ll interpret briefs, explore ideas and design digital experiences grounded in user insight. Working closely with our Creative, Development and Client Services teams, you’ll help shape work that is clear, engaging and effective.

Day-to-day you’ll be:

• Interpreting briefs and project requirements and translating them into intuitive digital experiences
• Contributing to discovery work such as audits, research and workshops
• Creating UX deliverables including sitemaps, wireframes, user journeys and UX reviews
• Designing polished UI including mockups, components, interactions, style guides and design systems
• Creating supporting design assets such as icons and illustrations
• Preparing designs for handoff to development or clients
• Working closely with developers to ensure designs translate smoothly into build
• Presenting work and ideas clearly to clients and internally
• Contributing ideas in creative sessions and helping shape strong digital solutions
• Contributing to internal projects such as our website, marketing and social content
• Designing occasional print and offline materials
• Staying curious about industry trends and continuing to develop your design skills

• Design is second nature
• 3-5 years experience in a design role – ideally within an agency
• Strong UX/UI design capabilities with the ability to turn ideas into intuitive digital experiences
• Confident interpreting briefs and translating insight into clear, effective design
• Skilled at creating UX deliverables such as wireframes, sitemaps and user journeys
• Able to design polished UI including layouts, components, mockups and design systems
• A solid understanding of design principles including hierarchy, alignment, colour and balance
• Confident presenting your work to both clients and internal teams
• Comfortable receiving feedback and refining work through collaboration
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Experience using Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud
• A strong understanding of accessibility, responsive design and how design translates into front-end development
• Curious, proactive and motivated to keep developing your skills and exploring new ideas
• Comfortable working both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team

• 24 days holiday (plus bank holidays and a full agency shutdown over Christmas - e.g. last year was a full week)

• As part of the holiday allowance you can allocate 4 weeks a year fully remote working - e.g. you can work abroad
