Macildowie, a progressive, rapidly expanding recruitment business, approached Nzime to guide them through a phased rebrand process with a view to better engagement both internally and externally.

This 12 month process was a fantastic opportunity to review and rebuild the brand strategy from the ground up. The journey started by a complete review and reworking of the organisations vision and values, implementing a company-wide consultation process to really understand the culture and personality of the brand. This went hand in hand with a full exploration of the brand, customer segmentation and approach.

This gave us the perfect building blocks to develop an engaging, vibrant and meaningful brand that truly reflects the business, its values and the energy that drives it. This was then rolled out across all comms channels - including a full redevelopment of Macildowie’s digital presence, alongside their technical agency Volcanic.

This was a highly collaborative process, using persona development and journey mapping to understand user behaviour across the three core audiences - Candidate, Client and Work For Us. We looked at learnings from other sectors, such as e-commerce, to create a conversion focused job search journey alongside a powerful brand experience.

Sharing insight with Volcanic we produced a website that provided standout in an industry that struggles with differentiation. To deliver the project we brought Nzime and Volcanic teams together with daily stand-ups, weekly status meetings and a shared project environment online. This combined with detailed prototyping ensured that visuals were translated into code.

We have worked with Nzime for several years, and over the last 12 months they have guided us through our major rebrand - I can’t fault how it’s been handled from a design, collaboration and execution point of view. Nzime undertook a company-wide consultation process to help us better understand ourselves as a business and our place within the industry. This allowed us to define our core values, which in turn fed into the rebrand process. This has resulted in an engaging, vibrant and exciting rebrand that truly reflects us as a business and aligns with our objectives. Nzime then worked very closely with our web builders Volcanic to redevelop our website from the ground up. Again, this highly collaborative process saw Nzime and Volcanic deliver a site that surpassed our expectations with very little pain on the way .
