To keep the site fresh, we created a PHP4/SQL driven content management system for mobile phone data giving us the ability to update our site efficiently, whenever or wherever we are, instantly.
The web- log area on the left of the home page checks at regular intervals for text messages sent from any of the Nzime staff via a CRON script on the server to a specific POP3 mail box and displays it along with the time, date and staff member's name using predefined CSS styles.
The images on the right of the home page are sent from our camera phones.
The site retrieves, creates thumbnail JPEG files and drops them into the page along with a time and date reference. Additionally, if the sender of the image has sent text with it, the system also adds this to the Alt tag information to be displayed as rollover copy.

We have built the site so that it will let you view only the latest info sent, although it keeps a log of all the data/images in the mySQL database which we can control through a password protected administration area.
The In-Progress area of the site we have dedicated to our clients.
Here we are able to give password protected access to the development area on our server allowing them to check files and send us any comments quickly and easily.
All of the above, our programmers and designers have built from the ground up using the latest web technologies such as PHP, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL integrated within the HTML code as well as Macromedia Flash and Actionscript controlled files for the Portfolio area of the site.
